Тhis summer was rather miserly from a surfer's point of view, but the fall turned out to be perfect for a few good waves and, a few good days in the mountain, as well. When the city is washed out by rainy freshness and the heat is just a memory ... the mountain becomes a more-than-great option for a weekend or a little longer. Even though Pirin is considered to be unwelcoming and harsh, it's actually more than wonderful (yes, even without skiing)! And when summer goes away, there seems to be no other better healing than plunging into the still green and vast mountain forests, climbing a few hills, losing yourself on some quiet path, and finally sitting under a tree while the rain drifts quietly in a magical mountain lake...
Fine delights that soothe the soul and the mind (and distract from the thought of island shores and giant waves lol). And the views of harsh peaks and unspoilt mountain meadows can only free the mind from the city's tough boundaries - and throw it back into the wild and endless state... where it belongs;) And what about the sensation of waking up from the cool mountain air, drinking a cup of tea, looking at the hills while drenched in your our little fantasies ...
Once again: Bulgaria is unique with the proximity of so many natural beauties as some of the most unique, diversified in relief and vegetation mountains, just a few hours from the city or the sea. And because they are so different - it's worth spending a little more time to go somewhere a bit further, you will not regret it!
